I have a confession to make: I’m addicted to farmers’ markets. Notice how I used ‘markets’ in the plural sense. And I don’t just go to my local markets (and there are many!), but I even go to markets when I travel. By far, my very favorite is the Burlington Farmers’ Market in Burlington, VT. But since I wasn’t traveling this weekend, I headed over to the Waltham Farmers’ Market.
I went just to ‘look around’ but really, who am I kidding? I walked out of there with goat cheese, bluefish, various varieties of kale and multiple pounds of kohlrabi. I also had a fascinating conversation with a mushroom farmer – shoutout to Mycoterra Farm!
Needless to say, bluefish is on the dinner menu tonight. But right now, there’s a kale extravaganza going on in my kitchen. I like to sautee my kale with some ghee, homemade bone broth (beef this time) and a little bit of white wine. Yummmmmm 🙂
